Pensacola Seafood Festival ActivitiesIn addition to seafood, entertainment, and arts and crafts vendors, the Pensacola Seafood Festival offers a number of additional activities throughout the weekend. * Local artist Jan Kurtz, who created the artwork for the festival, will be available to sign posters at the gazebo in Seville Square. The event poster will be available for sale for $25 at the official merchandise booth during the 2010 Pensacola Seafood Festival. Signing times are as follows: Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. *The Fiesta Seafood Grille features cooking demonstrations in Seville Square near the gazebo. Join Energy Services of Pensacola as they feature local chefs who share their secrets for preparing your favorite mouthwatering cuisine with an emphasis in fresh seafood. Click here for more information. *Splash Dogs Competition - Dock jumping for dogs is fast becoming one of America's most popular outdoor events. Pets compete for distance, diving from a dock into a 25 foot pool. The Splash Dogs event is open to any dog/handler team who wishes to enter. There are many waves to enter on Saturday and Sunday. You may register online at the Splash Dogs website or on-site. Competitive dogs are ONLY allowed in Pensacola News Journal Pelican Park (Bartram Park) at 211 Bayfront Parkway. *Children can visit the children's area in Bartram Park to enjoy fun-filled activities designed with them in mind. Fiesta and Babin House of Party will host the children's area in Pensacola News Journal Pelican Park (Bartram Park), and will be open and will be open Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Click here to visit Babin House of Party online.
