Pensacola Seafood Festival ActivitiesIn addition to seafood, entertainment, and arts and crafts vendors, the Pensacola Seafood Festival, presented by Florida Blue offers a number of additional activities throughout the weekend.* Local artist Diane Brim, who created the artwork for the 2011 festival, will be available to sign posters next to the gazebo in Seville Square. Diane Brim’s striking abstract paintings can best be summarized as boldly colorful and expressively free. She employs a myriad of luminescent hues in her paint selection with the emphasis on spontaneity and dynamics. Though well seasoned in the principals and elements of composition design, the bottom line for her is does it have the “wow factor.” Posters and T-shirts showcasing her design will be sold at the official merchandise booths during the Pensacola Seafood Festival. Posters are $25 and signing times are Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday noon to 2 p.m. *The Fiesta Seafood Grille features cooking demonstrations in Seville Square near the gazebo.
