Seafood FestivalThe Fiesta of Five Flags presents the Pensacola Seafood Festival on the fourth weekend of September in historic Seville Square area in downtown Pensacola. You and your family can enjoy delicious fruits of the sea at this outstanding event which has been consistently recognized as one of the Top 20 festivals in the Southeast by the Southeast Tourism Society. The 2008 festival is scheduled for September 26, 27, and 28. Admission is free. The fantastic seafood for which the Gulf Coast is famous will be the highlight of the weekend. Carefully selected food vendors offer a wide variety of seafood dishes and other festival fare. Past food vendors menus have included coconut shrimp, fried oysters, grits a’ ya ya, blackened mahi mahi, green tomato gumbo, Pensacola crab ball, fried grouper, kettle corn and funnel cakes.
